Pokemon Red, and Blue Version Walkthrough

Welcome to the Official Pokemon Universe Pokemon Red, and Blue Version walkthrough. First off i would like to thank you for choosing Pokemon Universe for your Pokemon needs. Below you will find the table of contents for the walkthrough. At the bottom of each section there will be a spoiler box containing information unrelated to the storyline. This information includes TM locations, Item locations, Wild Pokemon locations and information, Trainer Information, and Pokemart items and prices.

Before we start getting into the game i would like to bring to your attention the pokemon that cannot be found in each individual game.

Pallet Town

Your story begins in home town of Pallet. Once the game has started and you have picked your name and what not you will find yourself in your room. Check your PC for a potion and then head on down stairs to have a chat with your mom. Once you are finished go outside.

In your little town there are 3 houses and an exit to the north. If you have played pokemon before you know that the story cannot progress until you have received your first pokemon. You also know there is always a professor to give you one. And where do you find professors? Yup that's right, their laboratory, or so you would think. If you walk into professor oak's laboratory you will not find him anywhere. Remember that exit i mentioned earlier? Head over in that direction and try to leave. Right before you get to the grass professor oak will stop you and take you back to his lab.

Now its time to receive your pokemon. You will have a free choice between:
Bulbasaur (the grass pokemon) If you choose Bulbasaur your Rival will choose Charmander.
Squirtle (the water pokemon) If you choose Squirtle your Rival will choose Bulbasaur.
Charmander (the fire pokemon) If you choose Charmander your Rival will choose Squirtle.

As soon as you try to leave the lab your rival will come and challenge you to a pokemon battle. He will either have a Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or a Charmander depending on what pokemon you chose.

Once you have finished your battle with your rival head outside. You have done pretty much all you can at this point so exit the town to the north to get to Route 1.

Route 1

Route 1 connects Pallet Town to Viridian City, which is where you are headed. There is really nothing to do here except maybe train your pokemon a little. Keep continuing to move north until you get to Viridian City.
